So, I see people all the time asking for help or complaining that it's just impossible/boring to do 100 days of survival. And while it is in fact a 16.5 hour grind, there are some things you can do to make it less mind numbing and easier. Hopefully I'll be able to keep this short and concise.
1. First and foremost, always let your jotuns walk all the way to your base. That doesn't mean wait until they are right outside your gate, ideally, you want to find the jotuns as soon as they spawn, beat them to less than 5k health and let them wander the rest of the way. The closer to 0 HP you get, the better. The purpose for this is to keep your jotuns levels from getting really out of hand mid-game, as they spawn exactly one day from the time you slay one.
2. Bloodmoons will need to be defended. Once you get your fortifications built and upgraded, most nights you'll be able to just ignore defense. Especially away from base, the helthings really don't do much to the gates and summer nights don't last long.
3. Find something to do during your run. Whether it's farm souls for the 1 million souls trophy or try out different weapon/rune loadouts. I find farming camps for arrows to sell make a good cash cow. Another viable method is to just afk until jotuns show up, but I really feel like that's the part that kills it for most people.
4. Crowd source it. Find some friends you can trust to play when you can't. Keep that timer running. Simple, right?
5. If all else fails and you just don't have the gaming fortitude or the time, you can always hit the discord and look for people with a premade day 100+ game.
Anywho. If anyone has anything to add. Please feel free to.
