Getting further in Tribes of Midgard (Part 4/4)​

Your first few runs​

Okay… Okay - I know you haven’t completed the game yet, you still need to kill the Saga Bosses and of course also try out all the different classes (there are 8) - right, classes, I haven’t told you about the wonders of levelling up. So, whenever you get enough experience during a run, you will level up. Classes are powerful alterations of any and all Einherjars - You have a starter choice between Ranger and Warrior, whichever you tried out last run, try the other one, just to see which you like the most (at least until more classes are unlocked).

Runes​

You mighty by now have seen a few rocks with symbols on them, maybe even picked some of them up? - These are Runes, mythical stones with a lot of power, they can help you with everything from getting more loot to dealing more damage, I have even heard that some can deny death itself or make you richer in Valhalla!

I once tried counting the Runes… I think there was 15, no… 30? 40 - ah yes, I counted 40 runes total, all with different powers and abilities! When one drops, you can do two things:

1. You can tell your fellow Einherjars that a Rune dropped to hear if they need it more than you, it might synergize better with their class out loadout
2. Or you can keep it for yourself, I know what picking up a Rune feels like, I don’t blame you.

Go out and see if you can find some Runes or other interesting things to look at!

If you on your journey have seen some ruins of buildings, you can gather resources to rebuild them - these are the Quarry, Lumberyard, Farm and the Shipyard. Rebuilding any of the first three will give you a steady income every in game day. The Shipyard will allow you to build boats to explore even more of the world!

The Resource buildings will help you afford defenses in your village, rebuild the Bridge and sell the rest for a sweet Soul profit!

Selling and Sorcerers​

Yes, oh yes - selling anything in Midgard requires a heart of exploration, in order to find a Merchant willing to buy your wares, you’ll have to sail away from the main island and find two of my beloved friends, who will give you only the best Souls for your hard earned items!

What can you use these Souls for? You can seek out a Sorcerer - these guys live on the main island and they sell special resources from each biome, so if you need anything, they most likely sell it.

Quest Board: Saga Quests​

You’ve seen the quest board, right? We made sure to show you that… oh I sure hope we did. Okay but, take a moment to look at the other side of the board where all the Saga Quests are hiding! These quests are the overarching season quests, these are your end goal - when you feel comfortable enough, feel free to pick up such a quest and figure out how to complete it!

Take your time, this game isn’t easy and you are not supposed to beat every challenge the first time you try.- Just look at my good friend Thor, he has a few scars and bruises from battles that didn’t go as planned, and even our All-Father Odin is missing an eye, there’s no doubt he has made mistakes too!
