The range is one of two classes you can play when you start the game. They rely on their all-seeing eyes and mastery of the bow. You can play with your enemies and keep a distance with good dps.
1) Dark Embrace : Increase dark efficiency +20%
2) Ullr’s Step : While your bow is deployed, gain the ability to leap backwards and knock back your enemies
3) Thunder Embrace : Increase thunder efficiency +20%
4) Durable Weapon I : Increase weapon durability +20%
5) Charged Shot : Increase damage while holding bow
6) Haunting Feet I : Increase movement speed +10%
7) Slow Poke : Slow down enemies with melée attacks
8) Bow Mastery : Increase damage with Bows +10%
9) Raven’s Eye : Zoom out even further, gain the possibility to zoom out one more time
10) Durable weapon II : Increase weapon durability +50%
11) Piercing Arrow : Shoot arrows that pierce through enemies
12) Quickshot : Increase speed of combo attack arrows +25%
13) Sword Mastery : Increase damage with swords +10%
14) Haunting Feet II : Increase movement speed +20%
15) Deep quiver : 50% chance to recover Arrows shot
With this we can see that the ranger is stronger with lightning and dark weapons since you can have more efficiency on these two elements. For a good ranger, I have a build that you can adapt freely. It’s a good class for helping the team and can greatly dps a large number of enemies.
First, you can go on Haunting feet. If you only play with a bow; you can take the Charged Shot which will increase your dps, but you will lose mobility and be unable to move with the piercing shot.
Next, you can take the Slow Poke which will transit on the Bow Mastery and the Quickshot. With that you will increase your dps once again.
Finally, you have a multitude of possibilities. You can take the Thunder Embrace or Dark Embrace and increase your dps once again. You can also take Durable Weapon I and II; since the bow has a low durability, that can be really helpful. Another option would be to take the center of the skill tree and gain some vision, mobility and save arrows.
