How To Fish in Tribes of Midgard
If you’re here because you’ve been wondering what those mysterious ripples are in the water, and how to cast your first fishing line… you’ve come to the right place! Fishing was introduced with the Season 3 Update of Tribes of Midgard, and allows you to catch various types of fish in order to craft Meals!
How to craft a Fishing Rod
To craft a fishing rod in Saga Mode, you can visit the Tinker in the top left of your Village - she’ll be able to craft you a Rod like any other tool!In Survival Mode, you’ll need to craft a Tool Grinder in order to craft a Fishing Rod.
Can you Fish in both Saga Mode and Survival Mode?

There are 5 rarities of Fishing Rods:Mysterious Ripples
Mysterious Ripples can be found in both the Rivers and Oceans. Seeing one of these means you can drop your fishing line there!Step By Step Instructions
- Craft a Fishing Rod at the Tinker (Saga Mode) or at the Tool Grinder (Survival Mode)
- Find a Mysterious Ripple in the World
- Cast your line!
- As soon as you see a "splash", recoil your line
- Yay - you (hopefully) have a fish!

Types of Meals that can be crafted
