How to Unlock Every Class in Tribes of Midgard
The Ranger Class
The Ranger class is unlocked by default! You do not need to complete any challenge in order to use this class.
Class Overview
“Adepts of the god Ullr, Rangers rely on their all-seeing eyes and mastery with the Bow to strike at targets with deadly precision. Striding with inhuman speed, they engage and disengage with their enemies as they see fit.”- Strength: Ranged Damage Dealer
- Weapon proficiency: Bow, Sword

The Warrior Class
The Warrior is unlocked by default! You do not need to complete any challenges to use this class.
Class Overview
“Adepts of the god Týr, Warriors are versatile fighters who live to fight another day, even in death. Highly skilled in melee weaponry and Spell casting, they strike foes with blinding speed, continually landing blow after blow.”- Strength: Melee damage dealer
- Weapon proficiency: Sword and Axe

The Guardian Class
The Guardian class can be unlocked by defeating 3 Jötnar in a world (Saga mode only).
Remember that two of the same Jötnar will not spawn twice in a row - so be prepared with different elemental weapons! However, be aware that Jötnar will increase in Level each time you defeat one, giving them more health each time they spawn.

“Adepts of the god Forseti, Guardians are righteous defenders who taunt their enemies to protect their allies. Solemn in their duty, their legendary vigor can harness waves of attacks before unleashing an avalanche of their own.”- Strength: Tank
- Weapon proficiency: Axe and Sword

The Seer Class
The Seer class can be unlocked by using the Bifröst to exit 10 Worlds (Saga Mode). The Bifrost is the rainbow-colored portal that’s used to exit the World and return to Valhalla.
Class Overview
“Adepts of the goddess Iðunn, Seers are the devoted safekeepers of the Realm. Nourishing a sacred bond with the World Tree, they control their environment like no other, empowering their allies and weakening their enemies.”- Strength: Debuff oriented
- Weapon proficiency: No particular weapon, but buffs for all four elements

The Hunter Class
The Hunter class can be unlocked by Activating 15 Shrines in a World (Saga Mode).
This one will take plenty of exploration - it certainly helps if you have a tribe along with you. Other things that might help include crafting Speed Potions, which allow you to run faster. Similarly, using the Ranger class can allow you to unlock speed-boosting blessings, allowing you to explore at a quicker pace.

“Adepts of the goddess Skaði, Hunters are infamous for their ability to track and trap their prey, lurking in the shadows. Cunning explorers of the wild, their souls are bound to magical totems, allowing them to cheat their fate.”- Strength: Resource and traps specialist, exploration

The Berserker Class
The Berserker class can be unlocked by Defeating 20 enemies in 10 seconds in a World (Saga Mode). Arguably one of the more challenging unlocks, a recommended strategy is to gather Helthings at a closed gate at the Blood Moon in order to take them down all at once. You can also try gathering goblins in either the Land of Pools or the Smoky Highlands.

“Adepts of the goddess Thrúðr, Berserkers are always on the lookout for trouble. Consumed by their burning hearts and reveling in adrenaline, these explosive fighters pummel their foes with an unrelenting wrath.”- Strength: Melee damage dealer

The Sentinel Class
The Sentinel class can be unlocked by blocking 25 attacks in 10 seconds in a World (Saga Mode). First things first, you’ll need a trusty shield for this one. There’s a few ways to accomplish this class unlock - and one of the best ways is to gather Helthings at one of your village gates during a Blood Moon, rounding them up to block their attacks all at once. You can also try to gather goblins around you in the Land of Pools or Smoky Highlands goblin camps.

“Adepts of the goddess Syn, Sentinels are one with their Shields. Keeping their cool in the midst of battle, they inspire allies to be on guard and use their advanced Shield tactics to block, parry and strike with stunning effect.”- Strength: Tank with crowd-control abilities

The Warden Class
The Warden class can be unlocked by surviving beyond Day 15 in a World (Saga Mode). This involves staying PAST the Fimbulwinter (endless night) until the morning of Day 16. To accomplish this, we highly recommend joining up with a group in our Discord - there are plenty of others looking to accomplish this feat!

“Adepts of the god Hermóðr, Wardens are the pillars of human civilization. Energized couriers mastering the art of Runes, they travel in and out to supply frontlines and navigate its rugged landscape using their enchanted stone.”- Strength: Support
