How to Unlock the Guardian Class in Tribes of Midgard
The Guardian class can be unlocked by defeating 3 Jötnar in a world (Saga mode only).
Remember that two of the same Jötnar will not spawn twice in a row - so be prepared with different elemental weapons! However, be aware that Jötnar will increase in Level each time you defeat one, giving them more health each time they spawn.

Signature Blessings:- Forseti’s Taunt: Grab the attention of enemies
- With the resolve of Forseti, Guardians draw in their foes when deploying their Shield, preventing them from fleeing or evading. Let the purge begin!
- Pain Release: Build Pain while blocking damage
- Block enemy attacks with your Shield to fill up a Pain gauge. Release to unleash a destructive wave that stuns nearby enemies. The more the Pain gauge is filled, the more destructive the effect!
- Laws of Attraction: Draw in enemies while your shield is out
- While your Shield is deployed, gain the ability to draw in nearby enemies, pulling them within striking (or hugging) distance.
- Last Stand: Drop to 1 HP instead of dying
- Never get knocked out by a single blow again. Aided by Forseti, stand your ground and fight back to bring justice to this Realm... and to the eight others too.
- Defensive Pillar: Block attacks from any direction
- An Einherjar must remain ever vigilant. While your Shield is deployed, you automatically block any incoming attacks. Stay frosty.
- Refused Judgement: Earn Mana when blocking a hit
- Who doesn't need a shield? Blocking an attack gives you Mana for your good efforts.
- Passed Judgement: Earn Mana when sustaining a hit
- Who needs a Shield? Sustaining an attack gives you Mana for good efforts.
- Ironclad I: Increase total HP +20%
- With a blizzard still flowing through your veins, sustain even more damage than mountains can endure to carve through enemy lines.
- Ironclad II: Increase total HP +40%
- With a blizzard still flowing through your veins, sustain even more damage than mountains can endure to carve through enemy lines.
Alternate Blessings:
- Axe Mastery: Increase Damage with Axes +10%
- Nothing like a fine Axe to deal plenty of damage to one enemy. Boost your combo attacks and spells with this Blessing.
- Sword Mastery: Increase Damage with Swords +10%
- Nothing like a fine Sword to deal quick damage to groups of enemies. Boost your combo attacks and spells with this Blessing.
- Ice Embrace: Increase Ice Efficiency +20%
- Hear the gods! Boost your Ice elemental stats on all Weapons, Shields, and Armor. Make them shiver!
- Fire Embrace: Increase Fire Efficiency +20%
- Hear the gods! Boost your Fire elemental stats on all Weapons, Shields, and Armor. Make them roast!
- Durable Shields I: Increase Shield Durability +25%
- Tired of things breaking? Boost the durability of all your Shields for increased protection. Sturdy, stable, still strong.
