i really though a while, what could be my first guide... there was many options - some build suggestion, weapon compares or just a guide, whith that everyone could reach Day 100 easily.
As you can see i decide for something total other. I remembered how often i read about randoms dont know how to play Co-op.
Playing Co-op in ToM means to share - to share "everything" and the most effektiv way is in fix groups. Why? Because 1 Player who dont play with the others, could destroy a complete Co-op game.
So now we are starting with the (in my oppinion) best Co-op Style in ToM
1. of all... use voice chat - even in Random Games you could use the chat, which the games is offering to us. Better if you have fixed groups use PSN Party Chat/DC or something similar. Talk about Classes, Builds, needed runes (as example, if you have a nude player and noone else plays nude, tell him if nothingtohide Rune is drop in front of you)
2. Use always put your loot Box in town - for maximum effektives of the group, this is really important (if everyone do it, you will always have more stuff, than like everyone horting on the hand).
3. Inform/Mark when you:
- open the Chests of the Ruins (because they are worth 500 sould for each player + more stuff)
- destory a barricade (mark it on map additional)
- kill the Jotin (mark him! - the message will pop up anyway)
- finish a event (mark it - the message will pop up anyway, too)
4. if there is no bloodmoon you only need maximum 3 players in town - the rest should search night ressources for the team
5. if you are enough player - go in 2 Man Teams. Why? i cant count... how often a team mate calls for res, and died because noone was near enough often enough with to much souls.
6 use your class for the group - that means, the Warden could build for the players (if he have the skills), the seer can get the materials of desert and snow area early for the group, the sentinel is a heavy killing machine and can clean the hideouts solo (if you know what you do) to get the fragments. The Hunter can collect better ressources than other player - so send hunters into the night. A Hunter should never def the Town if you have enough Players.
7. Support the classes of your team. That mean, dont sell (atleast) explosion Arrows, if you have a bow user in the team. Dont sell your purple Weapon, because you get a golden now. Place it into the Loot Box. Maybe an other player could use it. Here again, the most important part of playing as team is to share.
8. last but not least - divide the jobs. If you are 10 Players its not needed that 10 Players do Hideout, 10 Players do Quests... regardless how many players in the game, the portal need always the same ammount of stuff to open. Just the Droprate decrease. Share the jobs (Again Sharing^^). You have a team, you dont have to do everything allone. Collecting, Searching Witches and Bridge, getting Harder optainable ressources, def the town, hunting the fragments, killing the jotünn....
thats just a first try, i am sure, i will overwork it sooner or later again. Maybe the future will change some points, but i think the basic will always be the same. Sharing is the key to coop in ToM and 1 Guy... can destory the fun for the rest of the group if he is playing solo in a team.
